The Visitor Control Center is located outside the North Gate in Bldg. 14615

The Pass and ID office is located outside the Main Gate in Bldg. 2403

 

Visitor Control Center

The updated hours for the North Gate Visitor Control Center are: 

Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Monday - Saturday closed 11 - 12 a.m. for lunch

Sunday - Closed
The Visitor Center will be closed all Federal holidays.

Pass and ID

The updated hours for the Main Gate Pass and ID office are: 
 Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday - Closed
The Pass and ID office will be closed all Federal holidays and family days

General Information

  1. Active Duty/Retired, Guard, and Reserve: These Common Access Card (CAC) holders are granted full access onto the installation.
    • They have access to the following: Base Exchange (BX), Commissary, All MWR Facilities (USO, Bowling Alley, Golf Course, etc.), Fuel Pumps, Medical Facilities, and both Shopette locations.
    • They can escort up to seven (7) guests at a time.*

 

  1. Active Duty/Retired, Guard, and Reserve Spouses: These Common Access Card (CAC) holders are granted full access onto the installation.
    • They have access to the following: Base Exchange (BX), Commissary, All MWR Facilities (USO, Bowling Alley, Golf Course, etc.), Fuel Pumps, Medical Facilities, and both Shopette locations.
    • They can escort up to seven (7) guests at a time.*

 

  1. Service-Connected Veterans/VHIC Card Holders: These individuals must register their VHIC Cards at each installation to gain access.
    • They have access to the following: Base Exchange (BX), Commissary, All MWR Facilities (USO, Bowling Alley, Golf Course, etc.), Fuel Pumps, Medical Facilities, and both Shopette locations.
    • They can to escort up to five (5) guests at a time.* NOTE: The 36 Security Forces Commander (DFC) may increase the numbers by exception.

 

  1. Veteran Spouses: They individuals do not have access the installation unless they are a guest of the registered VHIC Card holder.
    • They can be escorted on by a registered VHIC Card holder, Active Duty members and spouses.

 

  1. Active Civilian Employees: These Common Access Card (CAC) holders are granted full access onto the installation.
    • Privileges to base resources such as AAFES, DECA, MWR, Medical are determined by the individuals’ contract (i.e., protective services civilian employees or members of transportation agreements) and questions should be addressed to their leadership or CPO. 
    • They can escort up to seven (7) guests at a time.*

 

  1. Active Civilian Employee Spouses: These individuals do not have access the installation unless they are a guest of the Active Civilian, Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve member or spouse.

 

  1. Retired Civilian Employees: These individuals have limited access to the installation.
    • They have access to the following: All MWR Facilities and Base Exchange (Online only).
    • If the individual is a retired AAFES Employee, they are allowed to shop at the Base Exchange (BX).

For US Citizens at the Visitor Center (Recommend providing required documents two weeks prior to arrival to allow sufficient time for background checks)

  • Photo ID:
    • Option 1: Real ID (credential with a star on the top right corner of ID) OR a U.S. Passport
    • Option 2: a Driver’s License OR State ID Card with a Birth Certificate
    • Option 3: Permanent Residence Card (Green Card)
  • Sponsor with ID

 

For Non-U.S. Citizens (Recommend providing required documents two weeks prior to arrival to allow sufficient time for background checks)

  • Passport
  • Leisure Foreign Visitor Request Form

 

In order to request passes prior to visitors’ arrival (US or foreign):

  • Download appropriate pass type from https://www.andersen.af.mil/Contact-Us/Visitor-Center/
    • Special Purpose Pass (will require the members First Sergeant, SEL, or CC signatures to process)
    • Leisure Foreign Visitor Request
  • Submit all required documents and information to 36 SFS/VCC at 36sfs.vcc@us.af.mil
  • Pick up the pass during business hours (VCC) when pass is ready or call Pass and ID and provide tracking number to see if has been approved)
