Andersen's Best: Airman 1st Class Katherine Beshoner, 36th Operations Support Squadron

Airman 1st Class Katherine Beshoner, 36th Operations Squadron aviation research management journeyman, was awarded Andersen's Best here March 7.

Airman Beshoner was nominated by her fellow Airmen for becoming a phenomenal asset to both the operations and plans sections. Airman Beshoner secured phone and computer capabilities, changed safe and vault combos and organized supplies and equipment during the bed-down of the 13 Air Force staff and operational flying forces.

Airman Beshoner skillfully compiled the weekly operations and maintenance scheduling brief and identified numerous scheduling conflicts facilitating the successful completion of 117 flying sorties totaling 469 hours. Although Airman Beshoner has been in the Air Force less than three years, her maturity and willingness to go above and beyond have helped her in her career and has made a name for herself.

Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman with an award.
