Airman convicted for drug distribution Published Sept. 16, 2007 By Courtesy of the legal office ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- An Airman from the 36th Munitions Squadron was sentenced to 30 days confinement, two-thirds forfeiture of pay for one month and a reduction in grade to E-1 after being convicted by a summary court-martial Sept. 10. Airman 1st Class Joshua S. Wilson was convicted by a summary court-martial convened by Brig. Gen. Doug Owens, 36th Wing commander. The summary court-martial officer found Airman Wilson guilty of wrongfully distributing Percocet and Tylenol 3 on multiple occasions to two other Airmen. Airman Wilson began distributing Percocet and Tylenol 3 in February 2006. Airman Wilson distributed approximately five pills of Percocet and five pills of Tylenol 3 over a two week period to one Airman. He also distributed a prescription pill bottle containing seven to eight pills of Tylenol 3 to a second Airman. Airman Wilson confessed to distributing Percocet and Tylenol 3 to two different Airmen between January 2007 and March 2007. Airman Wilson also stated he crushed and snorted his Percocet and Tylenol 3 with one of the Airmen on several occasions. He is serving his sentence at the Andersen confinement facility. Capt. Ben Beliles and Capt. Jennifer Sanchez from the 36th Wing Legal Office were trial counsel for the Air Force. Capt. Clayton O'Connor from the Kadena Area Defense Counsel Office served as defense counsel for Airman Wilson.
