Andersen’s Best: Senior Airman Roland Partin, 36th Operations Support Squadron Published Sept. 19, 2011 By Senior Airman Benjamin Wiseman 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - -- Senior Airman Roland Partin, 36th Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, was awarded Team Andersen's Best here, Sept. 15. As an air traffic controller, Senior Airman Partin is responsible for the separation of both civilian and military aircraft inside Andersen's assigned airspace and for maintaining vigilant surveillance of Andersen's airfield environment. . Senior Airman Partin recently graduated Airman Leadership School in which he received the coveted John L. Levitow award. Additionally, Partin is a unit PTL who leads 3-4 sessions per week ensuring the squadron's fitness needs are met. . Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman/civilian with an award.
