Tech. Sgt. Julian Hoffman, 36th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Flight non-commissioned officer in charge, was awarded Team Andersen's Best here,
Oct. 13.

Sergeant Hoffman is the unit deployment manager responsible for calculating personnel and equipment requirements based on current Air Expeditionary Forces guidance, schedules and ancillary and constant training for 94 assigned personnel. So far this year, Sergeant Hoffman has single-handedly readied 24 personnel for multiple Central Command and Pacific Command area of responsibility taskings.

"Sergeant Hoffman's work ethic and commitment to quality work are unmatched," said Master Sgt. Brian Hinson, 36 LRS. "He embodies the Air Force core values of integrity, service before self and excellence in all we do. Sergeant Hoffman's duty title does not even begin to describe his contributions to the 36 LRS. Not only is he the NCOIC of the fuels support section and the 36 LRS Unit Deployment Manager, he is also the 36 LRS Security Manager, the 36 LRS Unit Fitness Program Manager, a part-time Unit Training Manager, a flight Government Purchase Card holder, and the Equipment Custodian for a $100,000 fuels support equipment account. His work ethic and commitment to quality work are unmatched."

Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman/Civilian with an award.
