Andersen to conduct munition disposal Published July 13, 2021 By Staff Sgt. Kevin Iinuma 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The 36 Civil Engineer Squadron will be destroying munitions at the explosive ordnance disposal range from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16. As a safety precaution, the Tarague overlook will be cleared of personnel during time of the detonation. Members of the public near the area may also hear loud explosions. Munition disposal will take place within a secure area, with no anticipated effect outside of the cordoned space. The munition disposal is not open to public viewing or the media.
