F-22A Raptors arrive on Andersen
A U.S. Air Force F-22A Raptor assigned to the 90th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska lands at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam July 20. The F-22A Raptor is the Air Force's newest fighter aircraft. Its combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability, represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities. The Raptor performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions allowing full realization of operational concepts vital to the 21st century Air Force.
