Nanako Lipai, a Mokil Atoll native, and members of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force pose for a photo after a flight in support of Operation Christmas Drop 2023 (OCD 23), at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Dec. 6, 2023. This was Lipai’s third time flying during OCD but it was the first time she got to fly to her home island to drop supply bundles.
