Andersen Elementary School Awards Ceremony
ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - Jaeleen Jaylo presents Katelyn Powell with a medal that reads "Life Saver Award: Presented to (Name). For Your Efforts To Assist Jaeleen Jaylo on November 14, 2008" along with four other heroic girls during the Andersen Elementary School Awards Ceremony here March 4. Katelyn Powell was the first to see Jaeleen Jaylo underwater and asked her sister Mackenzie Powell to dive down and see what was happening. Mackenzie was not strong enough to move Jaeleen, so she returned to the surface to inform her sister, who then asked Brooke Hummel to see if she could retrieve her from the bottom.
