Andersen Air Force Base is scheduled to conduct an operational readiness exercise here, Monday April 18 through Thursday April 21.

There will be increased noise and activity to include aircraft activity, sirens, messages from loud speakers, and alert vehicles that will respond to various emergency simulations. Traffic and base access may be impacted.

The exercise involves various training scenarios and is intended to prepare Team Andersen for potential incidents including aircraft malfunctions, injured personnel and attacks on base.  The exercise is a routinely scheduled event, ensuring ongoing readiness of Andersen personnel.

Businesses, to include the Base Exchange and Commissary, will not be impacted.
