Personnel from Headquarters Air Force and the Air Force Personnel Center will visit Team Andersen July 13, to share information about the Enlisted Evaluation System and Weighted Airman Promotion System changes.

During the briefing, EES/WAPS subject matter experts will speak about changes that have already been implemented, those slated for implementation in the months ahead, and the reasons and philosophy behind the changes.

The EES/WAPS teams are walking Airmen through the new evaluation system basic pillars - meaningful feedback, a cumulative record of performance and promotion potential - all of which are founded on duty performance.  Airmen are also getting a look at the new enlisted performance report forms and learning about forced distribution and senior rater endorsement under the new system.

"This is one of the most significant changes to the enlisted evaluation and promotion system in a generation. So, we feel it's important to bring this information directly to commanders and Airmen and allow them to ask questions and get immediate answers from the experts," said Maj. Gen. Peggy Poore, AFPC commander.

The series of briefings is targeted for specific audiences, as indicated below; note the time and various locations for each.

There will be a senior leadership brief held at the wing conference room at 8 a.m. Aimed at wing, group, and squadron commanders/equivalents and group superintendents, they will discuss changes and overarching guidance will be provided.

There will be an all call at the Coral Reef Fitness Center from 1-2:30 p.m. This briefing is for all Airmen. The EES road show team will cover the changes to both systems, how to use the new forms and leave time for questions and answers.

Immediately following the all call the EES road show team will meet with Force Support Squadron's manpower and personnel for a more in depth briefing.

"This briefing will provide some of the best information one can find on the new EES/WAPS system anywhere," said Chief Master Sgt. Michael McMillan, 36th Wing command chief. "I highly encourage everyone to attend and gain some insight on the new way forward."
