ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam --

Residents and military families from the 36th Wing celebrated Independence Day during Freedom Fest at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, July 4, 2024. Freedom Fest celebrates the day when the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress July 4, 1776. Musical bands such as Cold Stare Band, Pop Rocks and Soda, and Mixed Plate performed during the event. Several private organizations and booster clubs participated in Freedom Fest selling different snacks, tokens and clothing. Lastly, fireworks were displayed for the 36th Wing military families.
