Airmen remember fallen teammates in Port Dawg ceremony Published May 21, 2017 By Senior Airman Alexa Ann Henderson 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Airmen with the 734th Air Mobility Squadron and 44th Aerial Port Squadron participated in Port Dawg memorial to commemorate fallen air transportation specialists May 19, 2017, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Aerial porters, commonly referred to as Port Dawgs, are responsible for military logistics related to aerial ports and come from multiple units on Andersen AFB to include the 734th AMS, 36th Contingency Response Group and 36th Mission Readiness Squadron. Aerial porters across the Air Force congregate yearly to memorialize fallen teammates across the Air Force with a ceremony and formation run.
