Team Andersen participates in 69th Guam Liberation Day Parade

U. S. Navy Rear Adm. Tilghman Payne, Joint Region Marianas commander, Col. Jason Armagost, 36th Wing vice commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Gregory Rousey, 36th Communications Squadron superintendent, return a salute from 36th Wing Airmen as their formation passes during the 69th Liberation Day Parade July 21, 2013, in Hagåtña, Guam. Formations of active-duty service members, guardsmen and reservists, including more than 140 Airmen from the 36th Wing, led the parade down the 1.2-mile route past thousands of spectators. The parade commemorated the United States freeing the island from imperial Japan’s control during the Second Battle of Guam, which began July 21, 1944, and lasted 21 days.
