Cope North 2012
The U.S. Air Force, the Japan Air Self Defense Force and the Royal Australian Air Force began Exercise COPE NORTH 2012 here Feb. 11. The latest in a series of multilateral exercises, COPE NORTH provides a quality training venue to develop multinational interoperability and coalition procedures in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, air power missions and airborne command and control. The exercise, which will run through Feb. 24, also serves as a reminder of the three nations are commitment to preserving peace in the Pacific Region. (Courtesy photo)
