The U.S. Air Force, the Japan Air Self Defense Force and the Royal Australian Air Force began Exercise COPE NORTH 2012 here Feb. 11. The latest in a series of multilateral exercises, COPE NORTH provides a quality training venue to develop multinational interoperability and coalition procedures in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, air power missions and airborne command and control.
