434th Air Refueling Wing completes Andersen deployment
A B-52 Stratofortress from Minot Air Force Base, N.D. refuels from a KC-135 Stratotanker over the Pacific Ocean during exercise Tropic Fury. The 434th Air Refueling Wing from Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana recently completed a deployment to Andersen in support of Pacific Refueling Operations. During the 120 day deployment they accomplished 162 missions, flew 654 hours, off loaded over 8.2 million pounds of fuel with an overall mission capability rate of 96.2 percent.
