Slingstone 24-4: MARE

Andersen Air Force Base Fire Department Fire Fighters and a 36th Medical Group paramedic treat a simulated injured passenger during a major accident response exercise (MARE) for Slingstone 24-4 at Andersen AFB, Guam, Oct. 22, 2024. The MARE allows first responders to hone the skills needed should a real accident happen. This scenario included a simulated plane fire and passengers scattered around with various injuries, something that would be possible should a real world attack happen.
