36 CRG and HSC-25 conduct joint FTX

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Niccolo Pufall, air traffic controller assigned to the 36th Contingency Response Squadron, checks the wind and establish communications with a MH-60S Knighthawk assigned to the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 during a joint field training exercise at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, April 29, 2022. The purpose of this exercise was to test the HSC community ability to operate from an Expeditionary Advance Base. Coordination between the U.S. Air Force and Navy on this exercise demonstrated the ability to integrate with external assets that would realistically be supporting this type of operation and exposed HSC 25 to the capabilities and limitations of what the AF could provide.
