Ellsworth Airmen take on Pacific bomber mission as Dyess completes milestone deployment

A U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer assigned to the 37th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron (EBS), deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base (AFB), S.D., fly over Andersen AFB, Guam, July 26, 2017. The 37th EBS replaces the 9th EBS from Dyess AFB, Texas, which is currently supporting U.S. Pacific Command’s Continuous Bomber Presence mission. Incorporating the B-1 into Pacific Command operations, exercises the Air Force’s ability to integrate a unique capability with regional allies and partners in various parts of the world.
