End of era: B-1s replace B-52s at Andersen AFB

A B-1B Lancer assigned to the 34th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., lands Aug. 6, 2016, at Andersen AFB, Guam. The B-1s last participated in the U.S. Pacific Command’s Continuous Bomber Presence mission approximately 10 years ago and are returning to support USPACOM in conducting routine, strategic deterrence and regional training missions.
