SECAF visits Andersen during PACAF engagement

Master Sgt. Robert Mueller, 734th Air Mobility Squadron, discusses Operation Christmas Drop with the Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James Nov. 19, 2014, on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Operation Christmas Drop is a joint venture between Andersen and Yokota Air Base, Japan, that uses mobility training missions to drop several tons of humanitarian supplies to dozens of remote Pacific islands every December and is the world's longest running airdrop operation in the world at 62 years running. James saw first-hand how Andersen Airmen contribute to the ongoing rebalance to the Pacific as well as their role to ensuring peace and security in the region.
