Pacific Air Force officials awarded Master Sgt. James Colson, 36th Operations Support Squadron, with the 2007 Air Traffic Control Training Achievement Award. Sergeant Colson's achievements include preparing the air traffic control tower staff for four joint exercises, developing 20 air craft specific simulations and managing a training program that prepared controllers for 21 joint and bilateral exercises. Additionally, he revived a tower simulation system that prepared data and ground positions and created 10 scenarios in only a week to enhance air traffic control proficiency.
