Andersen Red Horse units build PACAF training center

Staff Sgt. Thomas Agee loads construction materials Jan.13 at Northwest field, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The construction plan will provide 80 facilities and infrastructure supporting four units. Northwest Field is going to become the home of Pacific Air Force’s premier Regional Training Center known as “Commando Warrior” as well as the 644 Combat Communications Squadron and the 554 RED HORSE Squadron and their “Silver Flag” training detachment. Collocating the different units will enable each unit to benefit from the synergies it creates; becoming the first training center of its kind in the Pacific. The mission of this Regional Training Center (RTC) is to enhance the combat readiness of Pacific Air Force forces through training and evaluation of Force Protection and Ground Combat Skills (GCS). Sgt. Agee is assigned to the 554th Red Horse at Andersen. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Master Sgt. Kevin J. Gruenwald)
