While visiting Andersen Air Force Base May 30, Secretary of Defense Dr. Robert Gates has coffee with Airmen, Soldiers, and Sailors stationed on Guam. Over coffee Dr. Gates opened up to the servicemembers by listening and answering their questions on a variety of topics. During his trip to Andersen, Dr. Gates also met with military and local government officials to discuss Guam's strategic importance in the region and the reallocation of forces throughout the Pacific.
