Andersen adds revamped instrument landing system capabilities

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - Members of the 36th Communications Squadron and civilian contractors use a crane to erect an instrument landing system on the flightline here. The system is one of four new Selex 2100 Series instrument landing systems to be added to the flightline. These systems enable aircraft to safely land on the runway in austere flying conditions.
