ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - Maintainers from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Aerial Demonstration Squadron recover aircraft upon arrival here Oct. 5. Base leadership rescheduled the air show for Oct. 7 after canceling it due to Typhoon Melor. The air show is being held primarily to thank the residents of Guam for their continued support for Andersen AFB and the rest of the U.S. Air Force. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds is the premier aerial demonstration team representing Airmen worldwide. The Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform precision, aerial maneuvers to exhibit the capabilities of the modern, high-performance F-16 Oct. 7.
