Recovery 1 stands ready to transport the highly specialized crash recovery team to any incident requiring their valuable skills. The crash recovery specialists are often the first and most critical step in recovering an aircraft and restoring it to duty status. At the same time, the crash recovery specialists are also charged with preserving the integrity of the scene itself down to the most minute detail so investigators and safety specialists can dissect the incident to ensure procedures are examined and, if applicable, modified.
