An Airman from the 644th Combat Communications Squadron scans the perimeter for opposing forces during a field training exercise of the Combat Readiness School at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Oct. 18. Andersen Airmen teamed up with members of the 1 Combat Communications Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force Base, Richmond, Sydney, for a 20-day combat-skills training course to both teach the Airmen new tactics and act as a refresher course for those who were already familiar with the combat training. The mission of the 644th CBCS is to rapidly deploy combat ready Airmen and communications in support of Pacific Theater Contingencies. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Nichelle Anderson)
