UXO DETONATION; NORTHWEST FIELD

Six-hundred pounds of unexploded ordnance was discovered at Northwest Field here during a routing survey of the grounds. After close examination, members of the 36th Wing and local agencies took action to safely detonate the World War II era bombs ensuring no harm came to personnel or local wildlife.
