Cope North 13 was conducted on Andersen, as well as the surrounding islands of Tinian and Saipan from Feb. 4-15. 72 aircraft from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Royal Australian Air Force participated in the exercise. 1,897 personnel from 20 units assisted in allowing those aircraft to fly 823 sorties over the course of the two-week exercise.
