ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The Air Force Personnel Center has now loaded Andersen's records into the Automated Records Management System, and you are now able to view your personal records online.
All personnel should review their record in ARMS within 30 days and notify AFPC at arms.conversion@randolph.af.mil if there are any discrepancies. AFPC performs quality assurance checks on random records, but due to the large amount of documents, a 100-percent check of each record is impossible.
Since there is such a large amount of records and AFPC has limited storage space, they are destroying the records, which has been approved by the National Archivist, shortly after they've been converted. If record discrepancies are not reported within the above time period, documents may not be available to research and correct the problem.
To access your records:
1. Log into Air Force Portal.
2. Click on "Automated Records Management System (via AFPC secure)" It is on the lower right of the screen under the bold heading of "Featured Links" and "Top Viewed: Career."
3. Click "ARMS Member."
4. Click each one individually to view individual documents or to view everything at once, instead of going in and out of each document separately click on "Create Multiple Document."
5. Click on view "Multipage."
6. Click on "Open."
If you have any questions or concerns, call the military personnel flight customer service desk from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at 366-2276.
