36th CS captures third consecutive basketball championship

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam --  The championship showdown between the 36th Communications Squadron's and the 554th RED HORSE Squadron's intramural basketball teams resulted in the 36th CS team's third consecutive championship win. 

The 36th CS team played through the winner's bracket, while the 554 RHS team fought its way through the loser's bracket to make it to the championship. 

The 554th RHS team played a hard first game, winning 44 to 32, forcing a second game since it was in the loser's bracket. The 36th CS team reached deep and amped up its man-to-man defense to finish the championship game with a winning score of 55 to 39.
