Andersen Airmen Participate in Sexual Assault Awareness Month Denim Day and Island Ride
ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam ? More than 50 Airmen, civilians, and veterans from Andersen joined together April 14, for a motor-cycle group ride to bring attention to Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Participants in the ride made several stops throughout the day to include the commissary, the BX, and also off base Skinner Plaza. The riders were all donning the official SAAM T-shirt for 2010, the shirt was made from the winning entry, by Staff Sgt. Santana Forney of the 36 Communications Squadron, for the SAAM shirt design contest. While making these stops they used their time to spread the word on sexual assault prevention and to pass out items related to it.
