Andersen's Best: Airman First Class Christopher Turner, 36th Security Forces Published May 24, 2011 36th Security Forces ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Airman First Class Christopher Turner, 36th Security Forces Squadron security controller, poses with members of his squadron after being awarded Team Andersen's Best here May 13. Airman Turner received the Andersen's Best award for his dedication to excellence. He scored a 98 percent on his patrol member exam and a 96 percent on the Desk Sergeant Qualification, filling critical 36 SFS positions. Also as a member of Andersen's Honor Guard, Airman Turner preformed 12 wing details honoring Airmen and fostering esprit de corps. Airman Turner scored a 92 percent on his most recent fitness assessment and has become a certified physical training leader. He now leads the flight PT program, improving the overall PT assessment rating by 25 percent. Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman with an award.
