Andersen's Best: Airman 1st Class Ashleigh Romero, 36th Civil Engineer Squadron

Airman 1st Class Ashleigh Romero, 36th Civil Engineer Squadron operations management technician, was awarded Andersen's Best here June 30.

Airman Romero is a go-to Airman for the Operations Flight chief and  provides weekly schedules of top 10 oldest Direct Scheduled Work/Reoccurring Work Program items, reducing backlog by 25 percent. Airman Romero was also awarded Professional Performer of the Month, May 11.

In addition to work, Airman Romero is very involved outside her office, acting as the 36 CES Booster Club Secretary, where she  organized six fundraisers for more than 350 personnel and earned more than $2,000 for squadron functions.

Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected
Airman with an award.
