Jeremy Harris, 36th Medical Group dental hygienist, was awarded Andersen's Best May 11. "Sergeant Harris provides care to more than 2,500 active duty patients at Andersen AFB," said Master Sgt. Beneria Hill, Sergeant Harris' supervisor. The planning and execution of the highly successful National Children's Dental Health Month for the Andersen AFB community was all due to Sergeant Harris's hard work, continued Sergeant Hill. "Sergeant Harris coordinated presentations to more than 1,000 children at Andersen Elementary School," said Sergeant Hill. "Sergeant Harris's dental expertise was crucial to the recent Base Health Fair which brought vital medical and dental information to 150 personnel." Among Sergeant Harris's daily tasks, he also briefs expecting mothers on dental hygiene during pregnancy and infant dental health at the Family Readiness Center on a monthly basis, said Sergeant Hill. Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman/civilian with an award.
