Andersen's Best: Staff Sgt. Louis Favela, 36th Medical Group

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam --  Staff Sgt. Louis Favela, 36th Medical Group noncommissioned officer in charge of education and training, was awarded Team Andersen's Best here, Sept. 8.

As the unit training manager, Sergeant Favela is responsible for the formal training of the entire medical group. He has coordinated with six different agencies for 28 temporary duty stations saving the 36 MDG $112,000 in funds.

Sergeant Favela has also supported the Government of Guam in a multi-agency disaster exercise. He provided evaluation assistance for safety issues and moulaged 72 role players to participate.

The sergeant goes above and beyond his regular duties to help anyone who needs assistance with any training issues and is the epitome of true professionalism and dedication to his duties and the mission of the Air Force.

Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman/civilian with an award.
