18th MXG Airmen prep Eagles for flight home Published Aug. 27, 2013 By Airman 1st Class Marianique Santos 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Airmen from the 18th Maintenance Group from Kadena Air Base, Japan, conducted pre-flight maintenance on F-15 Eagles on the Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, flightline, Aug. 27, before the F-15s flight back to Japan. Airmen from Kadena Air Base, Japan, were deployed to Guam for two weeks as part of the 67th Fighter Squadron's Aircraft Training Readiness program to increase the operational readiness of 300 maintainers, 40 pilots, and 25 support personnel assigned to the tactical aircraft team from Kadena.
