Andersen AFB Airmen, units earn Air Force-level recognition

Airmen and units from across the 36th Wing earned top honors at the Air Force level, contributing to a remarkable 166 higher-headquarters awards won by Team Andersen over the past year.

The recognition highlights the wing’s operational excellence and mission impact while executing one of the Department of the Air Force’s most strategically significant missions from the “Forward Edge” of the Indo-Pacific.

From sustaining rapid global mobility operations and power projection capabilities to strengthening regional partnerships and advancing combat readiness, Team Andersen Airmen continue to deliver results across a demanding and dynamic theater.

“Winning at the Air Force level reflects the professionalism, innovation and relentless commitment our Airmen demonstrate every day,” said Brig. Gen. Dan Cooley, 36th Wing commander. “These awards represent the incredible work happening across Team Andersen as we execute missions critical to regional security and Indo-Pacific stability.”
