36th CES hosts haunted house Published Oct. 21, 2007 By Senior Airman Miranda Moorer 36th Wing/Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The 36th Civil Engineering Squadron volunteered their time to bring some Halloween fun to Team Andersen by setting up a haunted house in base housing. This year marked the fourth year that the 36th CES constructed a haunted house on Andersen. "I thought it was great for the children. It was the first time I participated and I felt it was a great fun raiser," said Master Sgt. Daniel Cline. Sergeant Cline wore a skeleton mask and operated a fog machine inside the haunted house. Drinks and treats were available to those who came out. For $2, people received a tour of the haunted house where they were able to see 36th CES members and volunteers role play in their costumes and receive candy. The 36th CES toned it down a bit during designated hours for young children. "I think it was awesome. I had more fun scaring the adults than the children," said Airman 1st Class Matthew Derheim. The haunted house is open Oct. 26, 27 and 31 during the hours of 6 to 10 p.m.
