Andersen's Cookie Caper is scheduled for Dec. 17 at the Chapel 2 Fellowship Room.

The Cookie Caper is a way to give Airmen a little taste and feel of home by giving them festive baked goods to enjoy during the holiday season. Approximately 500 individually decorated cookie bags will be put together and delivered to Airmen who live in the dorms.

Cookies will be accepted at the curbside drop off in front of Chapel 2 (across from the Child Development Center) from 6:30 to 9 a.m.

This project will require many volunteers to guarantee its success. Help is needed in the following areas:

· Baking a variety of traditional, festive, colorful and freshly made cookies. If cookies are previously frozen they tend to crumble. Please drop them off between 6:30 and 9 a.m.

· Volunteers for curbside pick-up outside Chapel 2 from 6:30 through 9 a.m.

· Putting together individual cookie bags inside Chapel 2 Fellowship Room any time between 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Anyone interested in volunteering on Dec. 17 should call Beth Talley at 653-3136. Volunteer hours are between 6:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Any amount of time spent in giving a touch and taste of home to Andersen's Airmen is appreciated.
