Capt. Brooks “Shank” Walters goes airborne and stretches out for this pass during the flag football game played here the evening of December 12. Captain Walters was all over the field that balmy evening as he played in key offensive and defensive positions. Both teams were well matched in speed and quickness; however, turnovers plagued the Tiger offense and they fell to their opponents with a final score of 28-8.
Tigers wide out, Senior Airman Todd “T.A.” Anderson, looks downfield for a receiver after Tigers quarterback Capt. Bill “Moose” Free zinged the ball to Airman Anderson in the flat behind the line of scrimmage. Airman Anderson is a great arrow in the Tigers’ quiver as he brings his height, speed and an impressive throwing arm to the EBS football team. (Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Steven Wilson)
Tigers quarterback Capt. Bill “Moose” Free elects to cradle the pigskin and rush after he stepped into the collapsing pocket, pump faked to his right and still could not find an open receiver. Captain Free managed to gain a first down after this impressive run when he noticed the 36th Munitions Squadron’s secondary was spread thin across the middle of the playing field. Both teams had gifted sprinters, which had a huge impact on the game’s outcome. (Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Steven Wilson)
The 393rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, the Tigers, kick off to their opponents from the 366th Munitions Squadron in a flag football game here December 12. The Tigers special teams held their opponents to starting in their own territory following this kick. Both squadrons’ special teams were successful throughout the game in nullifying their opponents’ efforts to return the ball for a long gain after a kick off or punt. (Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt.
