Andersen Enlisted Spouses' Club showcases that it is business savvy Published Feb. 10, 2008 By Airman 1st Class Carissa Wolff 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- The Andersen Enlisted Spouses' Club held a business fair Feb. 9, at the Andersen Chapel II Annex from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There were 13 different business booths on display. These displays included information about both the products displayed as well as possible employment with the showcased business. Door prizes were donated by each business to be given throughout the event to patrons who stopped by. "The AESC business fair is a way for spouses who work out of their homes to showcase their respective business to patrons, and other military spouses in the event that those patrons or military spouses are interested in starting their own home businesses," said Bernie McFarling, the president of the AESC. No products were sold at this event. Items on display were given away as samples or used for demonstration purposes. McFarling said this event was a success and they're highly anticipating the next year's AESC Business Fair.
