Joint effort makes exercise success Published April 29, 2008 By 36th Wing Public Affairs ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Members of the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 joined forces to rescue four simulated injured hikers at Tarague Beach during Andersen's Initial Readiness Response Exercise April 28. While the I.R.R.E.'s main purpose was assess the wing's ability to deploy rapidly in support of a regional contingency, it also featured several other scenarios like the hiker rescue.
