Entry Control Procedures to change for Team Andersen

The Air Force has implemented a new baseline for entry control standards to Air Force installations. These changes will be implemented at Andersen Air Force Base on May 17. The changes include:

-One valid DOD or federal government ID per vehicle will be sufficient for base entry. 100% ID checks will only be conducted as a random antiterrorism measure or during increased Force Protection Conditions.

-DOD and federal government ID card holders will be able to vouch for and escort visitors without needing a visitor's pass. The requirement to properly escort visitors throughout their time on Andersen AFB remains. Additionally, if sponsoring 8 or more personnel, a special event pass is still required.

-DD FM 2220s (vehicle decals) are no longer required for base entry. Navy, however, does require the DD FM 2220 for base entry. If you still need a DD FM 2220 for regular access to naval installations on Guam, please contact 366-5650 or 366-5651. Additionally, rental cars will be treated as POVs. Drivers do not need to present a rental agreement for base entry.

Please contact Technical Sgt. Charles Freeman at 366-4524, for additional information.
