Andersen's Best: Tech. Sgt. Allen Daley, 36th Mobility Response Squadron Published July 19, 2011 ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Tech. Sgt. Allen Daley, 36th Mobility Response Squadron transmission noncommissioned officer in charge, was awarded Team Andersen's Best here, July 14. He is responsible for ensuring deployed personnel have the command and control communications necessary to support contingency and humanitarian operations. "Sergeant Daley embodies 'excellence in all we do' every day, and he ensures that our communications equipment, the 36th Contingency Response Group's lifeline when we open an airbase, is the first item mission-ready when we hit the ground and the last item stowed when we leave." Said Lt. Col. Michael Black, 36 MRS officer. Sergeant Daley represented the 36 CRG at the Contingency Response Operations Workshop where he served as airbase opening training specialist, fine-tuning the job qualification standards for the entire contingency response community. Sergeant Daley also has been actively involved in preparing the unit for the upcoming bilateral exercise, Talisman Saber 2011 (TS11), with the Royal Australian Air Force. This exercise provides the MRS and CRG an opportunity to improve combat readiness, exercise war-fighting skills through the continuation and strengthening of our building partnership capacity with the Royal Australian military forces. Andersen's Best is a recognition program which highlights a top performer from the 36th Wing. Each week, supervisors nominate a member of their team for outstanding performance and the wing commander presents the selected Airman/Civilian with an award.
