Common Access Cards (CACs) with Social Security numbers will expire Oct. 1, 2012 Published Sept. 20, 2012 By 36th Wing Public Affairs 36th Wing ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Effective Oct. 1, 2012 all Common Access Cards (CACs) with Social Security Numbers imprinted on the back of the card will no longer work for government computer access. There are only a few military members that have this type of CAC. Andersen Air Force Base's Military Personnel Section (MPS) Customer Support Element will implement extended hours, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., through October 5, to issue replacement CACs for those impacted. The MPS Customer Support Element is located in building 23008 on Andersen AFB. MPS recommends making an appointment to reduce your wait time.
