The 36th Medical Group will be consolidating all meetings and training to take place once a month starting here Nov.14.

"All meetings that would usually be spaced throughout the month will now be held the second Wednesday of every month," said Capt. Angela Naugle, 36th Wing Medical Support Squadron medical readiness flight commander. "All meetings will be back to back, then later that afternoon all training for the month will be completed."

Due to the consolidation, the entire medical group will be shut down the second Wednesday of each month.

"We want to publicize this for servicemembers and families so that they may plan accordingly," said Captain Naugle.

The plan to change training day was submitted and approved to streamline the clinical providers' time to see patients.

"This will allow the providers approximately 20 percent more time in the clinic and make more appoints available for patients, as well as allow time to complete all medical requirements that are now taking time away from clinic," said Lt.Col. Tambra Yates, 36th Medical Operations Squadron commander.
