The 36th Medical Group launched a ScriptCenter locker system for Tricare beneficiaries to conveniently pick up prescription refills, here, Jan. 15, 2025.

The ScriptCenter is a secure, convenient and private locker system implemented by the pharmacy team to reduce wait times for patients picking up their refilled prescriptions.

“Some of our patients have limitations that prevent them from accessing the pharmacy during normal operating hours,” said Capt. Benjamin Hutto, chief of pharmacy operations, 36th Healthcare Operations Squadron. “We know our patients’ time is valuable and these lockers make refill pick-ups more efficient.”

The ScriptCenter is currently located to the right of the optometry clinic. Patients can   access the ScriptCenter Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. excluding federal holidays and Medical Group training days. The Pharmacy Operations team is working to transition the ScriptCenter to 24-hour access at which time the location will change to the entrance of the optometry clinic.

Patients can either use the MHS Genesis Patient Portal or call (671)-344-9620 to order their refills. Prescriptions can then be retrieved from the ScriptCenter after one duty day with the scan of a military ID.

“These lockers provide an expedited opportunity to access refilled medication as we strive to optimize healthcare delivery here on Guam,” said Hutto.
